Ivy Tech Community College is the state's largest public postsecondary institution and the nation's largest singly accredited statewide community college system serving nearly 200,000 students annually. Ivy Tech has campuses throughout Indiana. It serves as the state's engine of workforce development, offering affordable degree programs and training that are aligned with the needs of its communities. Andrew Bell - Ivy Tech Northeast Engineering Department Chair

Andy Bell is the Department Chair of Engineering at Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast. He is responsible for the development of the Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology and Pre-Engineering programs. Students can earn an Associate of Science for any of these programs which are part of Ivy Tech Community College's statewide engineering programs. Andy reports to Dr. Darrel Kesler, Dean of the Schools of Technology and Applied Science and Engineering Technology. Previously, Andy worked at ITT GS where he designed, analyzed, and tested many defense and space products to include weather satellites and U.S. Army radios. He earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. He has also completed all course work for a PhD in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
